ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
Greetings and welcome to the site of the Hong Kong Small & Medium Enterprise Association.
This site consolidates the activities of the Association, an organization committed to the service of small and medium-scale enterprises.
Since its establishment in 1996, the Association has vigorously carried out activities to help companies recover from the economic recession and to open opportunities for further growth and development. As the voice of many small and mid-size companies, the Association has brought up major concerns such as copyright infringement and financial loans, to the attention of the Hong Kong government.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
- To present proposals that may speed up the formulation of government policies related to the development of small and mid-size companies.
- To push for innovative design, production and information technology necessary in protecting intellectual property rights and to improve commercial and industrial add-values.
- To assist members in applying for development funds and low-interest loans from the HK government and financial bodies.
- To conduct seminars and exchange activities, such as inviting Hong Kong government officials, specialists and scholars who can orient members on government policies and on investments.
- To create opportunities for small and mid-size enterprises.
- To organize "visit" activities in which members can study developing countries and regions and find investment opportunities.
- To share relevant information among members on a regular basis.
- To assist members in taxation, customs, policy changes, and other aspects of building factories inland.
